These Test Terminals Blocks offer easy access for on-site testing of Ammeters, kWH Meters, Maximum Demand Indicators, Trivector Meters, Relays and Instrument Transformers, without disconnecting them from the load. This thus avoids C.T. open circuit problems and facilitates easy Connections for testing instruments. The Test Terminal Block therefore becomes an important element of the Metering Solution. The Test Terminals Blocks are designed for projection mounting with either front or back connection possibilities, designated as FC or BC. The Test Terminal Blocks are suitable for 3 phase, 3 wire or 3 phase 4 wire application for up to 50 A, 600 V, continuous rating and generally conform to IEC 60947-7-1

The most popular 13 Way TTB has 13 Terminals in total, of which 9 are current terminals and 4 are voltage terminals. The current terminals are separated into groups of 3 for testing, with inter-terminal shorting links for short-circuiting of the CT terminals. The base of the Test Terminal Block is made of excellent quality electrical grade black bakelite moulding powder. The base moulding is provided with integrally moulded barriers between the terminals for complete protection against flashovers. In addition, a bakelite shield is provided in front to avoid flashover or shorting at cable entries. To ensure safety, a moulded shroud is provided for isolation of the 4 voltage terminals.

For viewing the inside connections without removing the cover, thus saving time of the Operator, a sturdy, transparent, flame retardant (UL94V0 grade) polycarbonate top cover is provided. Optionally, the top cover is offered in Bakelite, as the base is made of. The top cover is secured in place by knurled knobs and a sealing arrangement is provided to prevent unauthorized access.

The Test Terminal Block can be fitted to any panel by means of 4 holes provided on the base. All terminals, shorting links, screws, nuts, etc., used in the electrical connections are of are bright nickel-plated brass to prevent corrosion and provide high conductivity. The screws are provided with rounded edges to prevent any damage to cable strands. Each terminal has a 6 mm diameter hole for cable entry and two M5 screws secure the cables. For the Back Connected Test Terminal Blocks, colour coded sleeves in red, yellow and blue colours or in brown, grey and black colours, in line with the colour code/ practice prevalent in the country are provided to indicate the 3 different phases.

We offer 9 Way Test Terminal Blocks, special design 13 Way Terminal Blocks and Test Terminal Blocks with Voltage Disconnect features, against specific requirement.

These 4 Way Test Blocks are used for mounting on switchboard panels for use with proper test equipment to facilitate the testing of AC instruments, meters and relays.

Technical Features
Type TTB4W test blocks are 4-pole blocks, provided with a moulded bakelite base and covers that have an arrangement of internal plug contacts, which make a through positive connection when the cover is in place. The contacts in the blocks are of the line pressure type and provide positive contact, with minimum contact resistance. For all current circuits, auxiliary contacts are used which automatically short circuit the current transformer when the cover is removed. Routine testing can be accomplished simply by removing the cover and substituting the properly connected test plug. Thereafter, normal connections are restored by replacing the cover. 

The Contact rating is 250 volts, 10 amperes Continuous.
Each TTB4W Test Block includes the Test Block and cover with a set of several auxiliary contacts, jumpers, and screws in sufficient variety and quantity to provide the combination to suit any desired application. Some typical arrangements of these are shown in figures below. The price for the TTB4W Test Block includes the price for all mounting screws, nuts (for the studs, and for blocks for mounting on 1/8-1/2-inch, namely 3.2-12.7mm, thick panels) and bushings for the studs.

Details of the Auxiliary Contacts provided are as shown below:
Auxiliary contact C1 is equal to one pole of contact No. 1, to be used in conjunction with jumper shown in the figure. 

Auxiliary contact C2 is used to short circuit the current transformer when the cover or plug is not in place.
Auxiliary contact C3 is used as a bridge to maintain the circuit during the period that the cover or the plug is not in place. Without this connection, loss of revenue is possible because of interrupted operation if the replacement of the cover or fitment of the test plug is long delayed.
Auxiliary contact C4 jumpers are to be used in connection with auxiliary contact C2 or C4, to serve the same purpose as Auxiliary Contact C2, namely to short circuit a current transformer or interconnect phases, when the cover fastening stud is to be by-passed. 
The numbers of Auxiliary contacts , which are furnished as a standard accessory, along with each TTB4w Test Block are - C1 - 1., C2 - 2 , C3 - 4 . and C4 - 1 .

Standard Brass Neutral Bars are offered with 7mm x 9mm, 8mm x 12mm and 12.7mm x 12.7mm cross sections, covering a wide range of application in Distribution, these normally being fitted in Panel Boards. They are defined further ,based on number of ways such as 12 way, 18 way, 24 way , 30 way, 36 way & 42 way, or lengths like ½ and 1 metre.. Many other sections of Brass Neutral Bars are available and we can also offer Brass Neutral Bars, to any customers’ specific dimensional requirements and specified Brass composition. Bar Insulating Supports, Screw Base or of the Snap-On-Din 35 rail mount type, are also supplied.. Our Shrink wrapped supply of the Bars ensures excellent protection of the product finish , right up to the assembly line.

We offer our clients a wide range of Test Terminal Block Covers. When the test plugs are inserted in a block for testing , a protector cover is fitted to the block. Our Covers for the TT blocks are available with a connection for tripping the circuit as per the demands and requirements of our clients.
